John Morrison

It is with great sadness that the Abbey community learned of the sad news of the passing of John Morrison, past teacher and coach at the Abbey.

John worked at the Abbey as Head of Geography and teacher from 1993 to 2000.  He was much more than a teacher but an outgoing character who touched so many students and staff alike.

He was also widely respected for his work  motivating young people throughout  schools in Northern Ireland. His engaging interpersonal skills contributed to John becoming a forward thinking and highly skilled football coach respected throughout Ireland.

Above all he had the ability to make each individual, whether a student or adult, feel as the most important person in his company.
