Abbey Senior Quiz Team off to Cambridge for UK Quiz Finals

The Abbey Senior Quiz Team of Eoin Monaghan, James McKevitt, Karl Gray and Dan Foster are the Northern Ireland Senior Challenge Quiz Champions for the fourth year in succession.

In the recent competition they beat three Newry Schools on their way to retaining the trophy, Our Lady’s Grammar School, St. Colman’s College and Sacred Heart in the quarter-final, semi-final and final respectively.

The Team now travel to Pearse School in Cambridge for the UK Finals on March 23rd.  The boys have been busy at break and lunchtimes preparing for these finals in the hope that they can be crowned UK Schools Quiz Champions.
