Abbey Film Success

Huge congratulations to Moving Image Arts students Blaine Duffy, Nicola Clendinning and past pupil Shauna Luckie who received awards in the Newry Film Club short film competition, organised by Chairperson Kate O’Hanlon. Shauna, was awarded best Director at AS/A2 Level, Nicola, best Film and 1^st place in audience award at AS/A2 Level, and Blaine, best film and 2^nd place in audience award at GCSE level. The adjudicators, Director George J. Kingsnorth and Brian Dick were very impressed by their cinematic efforts. A fantastic achievement for Blaine, Nicola and Shauna! Congratulations to Pheya Tribelsky, Rhea Casey, Brendan Kane and Chloe O’Hare whose work was shortlisted for the event. Well done!!
