YOUNG WRITER’S COMPETITION

Pictured are students in Iveagh 9 who recently entered the latest Young Writer’s competition.

The ‘Empowered 2022 – The Power of the Pen’ competition asked students to write a poem about a topic they were interested in ranging from current affairs and human rights to the environment and identity. There were over 5000 entries in the competition and all the students who entered were selected to be published in a forthcoming collection of students’ work.
