Year 9 pupil work entered in 2021 Environmental Calendar

It is great to have the senior Abbey students back in to the class and corridors and after Easter with the return of the younger years, things will almost be back to some sense of normality.  The Abbey community of pupils and staff rose to the challenges of lockdown and with the spirit of hard work, skill, creativity and generosity, completed much.

Richard Cowan, a Year 9 pupil, entered his art work into the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council 2021 Environmental Calendar challenge and his creative work was selected for the month of November. Also in the picture is the Head of Art Ms Hughes and the Principal Mr Sloan.
