After a successful relaunch of El Campeonato to celebrate Easter, the results are in! The statistics from this week alone are:

Year 9 – 71 players. 344 attempts. 5 hours, 57 minutes, and 30 seconds of Spanish Vocabulary practice.

Year 10 – 87 students. 224 attempts. 7 hours, 53 minutes, and 44 seconds of Spanish Vocabulary practice.

And the winners are…

Year 9 –

1st Prize: Paul Wilson – 2 min 54 sec

2nd Prize: Antoin Murphy – 2 min 57 sec

3rd Prize: Frank Wilson – 2 min 58 sec

Year 10 –

1st Prize: Cody Loye – 9 min 8 sec

2nd Prize: Michael Sullivan – 9 min 10 sec

We also had a very special guest with us for the day yesterday. The Abbey welcomed Ari, from Granada, who spent the day finding out about how Spanish is taught and how fluent our Abbey boys are. Thank you to Mr Ruddy for organising.
