National Finals of the Economics Olympiad

Tuesday 23rd June Evan McGrath and Shane McKenna competed in the inaugural National Finals of the Economics Olympiad at the University of London in partnership with the London School of Economics.

In reaching the event, Evan and Shane were in the top 120 students out of over 4000 participants in the competition.

Throughout the day they completed rigorous assessments challenging their economic knowledge and real world application. This event also included outstanding guest speakers from renowned journalists, academics and professors on contemporary issues facing the world.

The Abbey is hugely proud of how Evan and Shane represented the school and we are very excited to see what they will achieve in the future.
