Fr Peter McVerry - Abbey CBS Past Pupil talks to current pupils

The school had the privilege of welcoming Fr Peter McVerry, a past pupil of the Abbey CBS, at the end of last month to speak about his work with the Peter McVerry Trust and to spread awareness to of the homeless crisis in Ireland.  He spoke to the Year 12 group and truly did inspire everyone on what we can do to try to make a difference and act on the social injustices that exist not only in a local context but on an international stage. The key message we took was that one person can truly make a difference.
