Successful season opener for Abbey athletes

‘the cross country season kicked off with the Newry and Mourne Schools event in KIlbroney.  The strength of the various Abbey teams was evident with the performances that were put in.

The 1^st year, 2^nd year, 3^rd Year and Intermediate teams all took silver medals, with standout performances from Tom McKeveney ( year 8 – 3^rd), Sean Campbell (year 10 – 2^nd) and Billy Campbell (year 12 – 1^st)’.
