Abbey Musicians Celebrate Success At Feis

A number of Abbey pupils have entered into Warrenpoint Feis this year with many being awarded prizes.

Piano Solo under 15 years:   1st place to Isaac Farrugia

Piano Solo under 18;

Higher Repertoire Grade 6/7;

Piano Solo – open (14 Years or over):    2nd place in each awarded to Jonathan Reynolds
Brass Solo Grade 2/3:    1st place to Matthew O’Brien and 3rd place to Eoin Lane
Bass Solo Grade 4/5 2nd place Patrick O’Connor
Brass Solo advanced Grade 6:    1st place to Conor McCusker

Solo in Irish Over 12 and Under 14:

Junior Folk Song Solo Under 14:        1st Place in both to Gavin Gribben

Boys solo – open:                                    2nd Place to Gavin Gribben

Church Music by a school Choir:    2nd place to the Abbey Choir.
