It was surprising how many Abbey staff spotted our very own Ronan Lynch, Breffini 10, at the election count yesterday evening in Belfast. Ronan was there as a representative of the Northern Ireland Youth Assembly, one of only 7 Youth Assembly members selected to attend the count

Ronan loved the experience, especially getting an opportunity to put questions to politicians like Edwin Poots and Colin McGrath, one of the SDLP candidates for South Down. Watch this space, this young Abbey student has a bright future ahead of him
